Traditional ways of processing tuition refunds have left educational institutions in Canada reliant on archaic systems which have lagged in innovation and efficiencies. Refunds may sound like a simple and turnkey transaction, but when it comes to providing a refund to a student, the process becomes complex, costly and time-intensive. In response to the current pandemic affecting students across the country, the teams at PayMyTuition and OA Solutions have developed an innovative solution to equip institutions with an alternative, cost-effective, and contactless way for students to receive domestic student refunds.

Navigating Higher Education’s Uncertain Future with Scenario Modeling - Syntellis
As you’re planning for the future and regardless of the scenario you expect to unfold at your institution, the adage “If you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail” rings true. Leaders like you should explore and prepare for not only the expected base case but also the worst and best cases in your financial plan.
Institutions often rely on custom databases or spreadsheets to keep a track of long-range plans. Manual processes lead to errors, lack of transparency, and erosion of trust.
In this webinar you will learn how to model multiple scenarios, develop mid- and long-term financial plans that are stress tested and aligned to your institution’s strategic goals. A demonstration of Syntellis’ (An Ellucian Reseller Partner) Axiom Long Range Planning software will also be provided. View

PayMyTuition with Canadian Ellucian Users Group (CEUG) present: Digitalization of Student Financial Services including payments, refunds, payment plans and collection processes
Schools across Canada have embraced digital technologies to modernize education delivery, boost learning outcomes and improve the learning experience. But front-line administrative and financial processes still lag behind.
While there has been much investment in digitizing the classroom, the digitization of school administrative functions has been limited. With attrition rates a concern due to today’s economic climate, digital solutions, real-time payments, and the internet of things must be enabled to give institutions and their students access to faster, easier, better payments solutions.
